Cabbage Roll Casserole Recipe
Serves: 8
Time: 1 hour
Ingredients:
Ground beef 2 lb
1 chopped white onion
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 (24 oz) jars marinara sauce
1 teaspoon dried thyme
½ teaspoon dried dill
½ teaspoon dried Sage
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 cups of cooked white rice
4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1 medium head (2 lbs), of cabbage, shredded
1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, grated
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with butter or nonstick spray.
Cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet on medium heat until the meat is tender. Cook for 1 more minute.
