Ingredients
1 ½ lb boneless pork chops (in 4 oz portions). I used thick, center-cut chops
1 c ketchup
⅓ c honey
¼ c soy sauce
3 clove garlic, minced
Salt and pepper
Directions
Tips We turned the pork chops every five minutes and they were ready for baking in 20-25 minutes in our oven.
1. Mix together honey, soy sauce, and ketchup in a large bowl.
2. I spray my broiler pan using cooking spray. Place the chops onto the broiler tray. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
3. To coat each chop, brush the sauce on both sides.
4. The oven rack was then placed two notches below the top. Place the chops in an oven-proof dish. Broil for 5 minutes. Once the chops are done, turn them over and baste. Broil for another five minutes, then chop and baste. Continue turning chops and basting them until they are done. My chops were done in 20 minutes each. It took me about 20 minutes to make mine. Thicker chops may take you less time. Be sure to baste liberally. These are delicious chops. They are delicious. You could also use the sauce to marinate the chicken.
