Ingredients:
3 tbsp (45 g) Butter (approximately), melted
1-2 cloves (1-2 cloves) garlic, minced
1-2 cans (1-2 cans) (15.5 ounces each) of chili, depending on how much chili you like
8 slices (8 slices) American cheese or ¾ c shredded cheese
8 (8 ) hot dogs
fresh parsley for garnish
1 can (1 can) refrigerated crescent dough sheet
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Use paper towels to pat dry the hot dogs.
Unroll the crescent dough, then slice it into eight even squares.
Wrap a hot dog with a slice of cheese, then wrap it with a slice of crescent roll. Repeat the process with the rest of the hot dogs, cheese, and dough slices. Press each gently.
Add the butter into a heat-proof bowl, then place it in the microwave and heat until completely melted. Remove from the microwave.
Add the minced garlic into the bowl with the melted butter and stir until well blended.
Arrange the wrapped hot dogs into a pan, then brush each with the garlic butter. Make sure to leave a small space between each hot dog.
Cover the pan with aluminium foil, then place it in the preheated oven and bake the hot dogs for 35 minutes.
Remove the foil cover, then add the chili around the hot dogs. Bake for another 10 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.
Remove from the oven and brush the hot dogs if you have leftover garlic butter. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top to garnish.
Serve and enjoy!
