Loaded with scrumptious flavors, these Sausage & Cream Cheese Bites “Donkey Balls” is one to try! I highly suggest serving them with a drizzle of maple syrup at the end. You should try it and thank me later! Just follow these easy steps and you are good to go. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 Medium Onion Diced
2 Packages Crescent Rolls
8 oz. Cream Cheese room temperature
16 oz. Jimmy Dean Sausage 1 standard package
½ tsp Garlic Powder
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Add the sausage, then cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown.
Add the garlic powder and onion slices, then cook for a few minutes until aromatic and soft. Drain any accumulated grease. Allow it to cool.
Add the cream cheese into the skillet with the sausage, then stir until well combined.
Separate each crescent roll from each other, then position it on the counter into triangles. Slice into two.
Top each roll with about 1 tsp of the sausage mixture, then fold the sides. Seal the sides by pinching. Repeat the process with the rest of the ingredients.
Arrange them onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Make sure to leave a small space between each roll about 1-inch.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the rolls for about 11 to 14 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
Remove from the oven, then drizzle maple syrup on top.
Serve right away. Enjoy!
