Ingredients:
2 cans of Dr. Pepper soda, divided
¾ c BBQ sauce (your favorite, we love our Sweet Baby Ray’s!)
4.5 lbs. boneless country-style pork ribs
Directions:
Lay the pork ribs into the bottom of the slow cooker.
Pour the can of soda on top of the ribs.
Cover and seal the slow cooker, then cook the ribs for about 7 hours on a low setting or 4 hours on a high setting.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Line a cookie sheet with aluminium foil, then place a wire rack over it.
In a mixing bowl, add ½ cup of Dr. Pepper soda and BBQ sauce. Stir until well blended.
Remove the ribs from the slow cooker, then transfer them onto the prepared cookie sheet over the rack. Arrange them in a single layer.
Brush each rib with the BBQ sauce mixture.
Place the ribs inside the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes.
Flip the ribs over, then bake the other sides for 15 more minutes.
Remove from the oven and let the ribs rest for a few minutes to incorporate all the flavors.
Serve the ribs with the rest of the sauce. Enjoy!
