Ingredients:
⅔ c brown sugar
¼ c low-sodium soy sauce
¼ c butter, melted
5 (15 ounces) cans of green beans, drained
1½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 pound bacon
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Drain the green beans, then place them into a 9×13-inch baking pan with no grease.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add the bacon into the hot skillet, then cook for a few minutes until crispy and brown.
Transfer the crispy bacon onto a clean plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease. Chop into small pieces when cool enough to handle.
Spread the crumbled bacon over the green beans.
In a mixing bowl, add garlic powder, soy sauce, brown sugar, and melted butter. Whisk until well blended.
Pour the mixture on top of the green beans and spread it evenly. Make sure to cover the top entirely.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes or until done.
Remove the baking pan from the oven.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Note:
This dish is perfect for potluck as well.
