Chicken marinated in soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, and a lot more! These Easy Chicken Kebabs will surely make your meal extra special! Whenever I crave a kebab, I always prepare this recipe. It is so easy and simple. It only requires eight ingredients. I am pretty sure you already have them right now! I can’t see any reason why you shouldn’t give this recipe a try. Ingredients:
skewers
½ lemon, juiced
3 multicolored bell peppers, cut into medium pieces
3 garlic cloves (minced)
1 teaspoon dried oregano
⅛ c olive oil
2 pounds boneless chicken thighs, cut into medium pieces
⅛ c soy sauce
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, add the chicken pieces, lemon juice, bell peppers, minced garlic cloves, dried oregano, olive oil, and soy sauce. Toss everything until the chicken pieces are well coated.
Place the bowl inside the fridge and marinate the chicken for 2 hours or 24 hours. (I suggest you marinate the chicken for 24 hours.)
Prepare the grill and preheat to medium-high.
Remove the chicken from the fridge.
Thread the chicken and bell peppers with the skewers.
Brush the grill with oil.
Add the chicken skewers over the grill, then cook each side for about 7 minutes or until done.
Remove the chicken from the grill and transfer them onto a clean plate.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to use onions and mushrooms for this recipe instead of bell peppers.
You can cook these chicken kebabs in the oven if you do not have a grill.
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them inside the fridge. They can last up to 3 days.
