Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 ½ tablespoons minced fresh garlic (4 cloves)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
1 ¼-pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 ¼-inch piece
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
1 ½ teaspoons Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Directions:
Put a 12-inch non-stick skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add 1 tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp of olive oil into the skillet. Swirl the skillet to coat it well.
Use paper towels to pat dry the chicken breasts.
In a mixing bowl, add Italian seasoning, flour, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well mixed.
Add the chicken breasts into the flour mixture, then toss until well coated. Remove any excess flour.
Add the chicken into the hot skillet and cook each side for about 3 minutes until they turn golden brown. Make sure to leave a small space between each chicken breast.
Add the rest of the butter and allow it to melt.
Add the garlic and parsley, then sauté until aromatic. Cook the chicken for a few more minutes or until they reach a temperature of 165 degrees C.
Transfer the chicken onto a clean serving plate.
Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes:
I like to serve these Garlic Butter Chicken Bites with steamed veggies and rice.
