1 – 10.5 ounces can cream of mushroom soup
4 boneless pork chops
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 c water
2 c chicken broth
1 c water (to add toward the end with the rice)
2 c rice (long-grain white rice)
1 to 1-½ c shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
Apply cooking spray in a slow cooker.
Lay the pork chops to the bottom of the prepared slow cooker.
Add the chicken broth, mushroom soup, garlic powder, water, salt, onion flakes, and pepper over the pork chops.
Lay the butter stick over the meat.
Cover the slow cooker, then cook everything for about 7 hours on a low setting.
Remove the pork chops from the slow cooker, then use two forks to shred them into small pieces.
Put the shredded pork back into the slow cooker together with 1 cup of water and rice. Stir until well blended.
Cover and cook for another 45 minutes on a high setting or until the rice is soft.
Uncover, then add the shredded cheese. Stir until well blended.
Serve hot and enjoy!
Note:
Feel free to add a generous amount of cheese if you like.
