Ingredients:
1 Egg
¼ c molasses
1 ¾ c flour
2 teaspoons ground ginger
½ c granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking soda
½ c vegetable oil
¼ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
½ c brown sugar
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
In a mixing bowl, add egg, sugars, molasses, and oil. Whisk until well blended. Add about 2 tsp of water if needed.
Form 1.5-inch balls out of the dough, then roll each. Coat them with coarse sugar.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Arrange the balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
Place the baking sheet inside the preheated oven and bake the balls for about 10 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
