Ingredients:
3 tbsp oil
½ c all-purpose flour
8 ounces sliced button mushrooms
4 Pork chops ¾ – 1 in thick
2 tsp garlic powder
1 onion thinly sliced
½ tsp paprika
2 c water
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Directions:
Add all the ingredients for the seasoning mix into a mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
Sprinkle some of the mixed seasonings on top of each pork chop, then rub until well coated.
Coat each pork chop with flour as well.
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the pork chops into the hot skillet and cook each side for 4 minutes or until they turn golden brown. Transfer them onto a clean plate.
In the same skillet, add the onions and mushrooms. Saute until soft.
Add the rest of the flour, then whisk and cook for about a minute to remove the raw taste.
Add 2 cups of water, then stir until well blended. Add more seasonings to taste.
Allow the mixture to boil, then put the pork chops back into the skillet.
Turn the heat down to low, then simmer everything for an hour.
Serve and enjoy!
