These heavenly treats just became my favourite! A big thanks to my good friend, Jessica, for recommending this recipe! This was probably my fifth time making these delicious treats! Ingredients:
1 tbsp vegetable oil
⅓ c ground beef or turkey
Cooking spray
12 wonton wrappers
½ c homemade or store-bought guacamole
1 c finely shredded iceberg or romaine lettuce
2 tsp taco seasoning
¼ c sour cream
½ c shredded Mexican cheese blend
½ c homemade or store-bought salsa
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Place the wonton wrappers into a 12-cup muffin pan.
Apply cooking spray over the wrappers.
Place the pan inside the preheated oven and bake the wonton for about 5 minutes.
Remove from the oven and set aside the wonton wrappers.
Place a pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add vegetable oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the ground beef, then cook until crumbly and brown.
Add the taco seasoning, then stir until well blended. Remove the pan from the stove.
Fill each taco cup with the ground meat, then sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese on top.
Top each with shredded lettuce, salsa, sour cream, and a dollop of guacamole.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
