Ingredients:
3 (8-inch) flour tortillas
1 lb. ground beef
1 ½-2 c shredded Mexican cheese blend
1 packet taco seasoning
½ c salsa con queso
water as called for on the back of the seasoning packet (usually ¾ c water)
Directions:
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the ground beef, then cook until crumbly and brown. Discard any accumulated grease.
Add water and taco seasoning. Refer to the directions provided on the pack of the seasoning.
Remove the skillet from the heat, then add ½ cup of salsa con queso. Stir everything until well combined.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in an 8-inch round baking pan.
Add a layer of flour tortilla into the prepared baking pan.
Add ⅓ of the beef taco over the tortilla.
Sprinkle ⅓ of shredded cheese over the beef taco layer. Repeat the process until everything is arranged in layers ending with cheese.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese turns golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for several minutes at room temperature.
Slice into even pieces.
