Ingredients:
4 slices Center Cut Bacon, cut into thin strips
1 pound Ground Beef, 96/4
¼ cup (60mL) Worcestershire Sauce
20 (500g) Red and Gold Mini Potatoes, thinly sliced
2 cups (480mL) Skim Milk
1 tablespoon Dry Mustard
1 cup (112g) Shredded Cheddar
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
1 teaspoon Black Pepper
1 tablespoon Smoked Paprika
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Place a 12-inch cast-iron skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the bacon and cook until crispy. Remove from the skillet onto a clean plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess grease.
Remove the rest of the grease from the skillet, then add the ground beef. Cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown.
Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, dry mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed. Remove the skillet from the stove.
Shove the ground beef to one side of the skillet, then add the potato slices.
Cover the potato slices with the ground beef. Repeat the process until everything is arranged in layers ending with potato slices.
Pour in milk and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 50 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.
Crumble the bacon over the skillet as well as the freshly chopped green onion.
Serve and enjoy!
