This Toasted Italian Sandwich will always have a special place in my heart! My grandma used to make this all the time when I was growing up. Ingredients:
Sliced mozzarella 2 slices
1 Ciabatta roll
1 tbsp chopped sun-dried tomatoes
1 tbsp pesto sauce
1 slice Oscar Mayer Old World Style Classic Salami
1 slice Oscar Mayer Old World Style Cracked Black Pepper Salami
1 slice Oscar Mayer Old World Style Turkey Pepperoni
1 slice Oscar Mayer Old World Style Classic Pepperoni
3 slices Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh Smoked Ham
Directions:
Divide the ciabatta roll into two.
Toast them into a hot pan until the edges are a bit brown and crunchy.
Add pesto sauce over each ciabatta slice and spread it evenly. Roll each.
Top the other halves of the ciabatta with sun-dried tomatoes.
Stuff each roll with black pepper salami, smoked ham, turkey pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese.
Place a non-stick skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the sandwiches and toast one side until the cheese is melted completely.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
