Ingredients:
Cajun Seasoning:
1 ½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp mild paprika
1 tsp chilli powder, add more if you like heat
½-3/4 tsp cayenne pepper, add more if you like heat
½ tsp dried oregano
1 ½ tsp salt
½ tsp brown sugar KETO: Use brown sugar
¾ tsp dried thyme
¼ tsp cracked black pepper to taste
Steak:
1-2 tbsp canola oil, divided
23 oz (650 g) steak, cut into 2-inch cubes (Sirloin, Rump, New York Strip, Porterhouse or Ribeye)
¼ c butter
4 cloves garlic finely chopped
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the Cajun seasoning. Stir until well mixed.
Add the steak into the seasoning and toss until well coated.
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add 2 tsp of oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the steaks and sear each side for about 3 minutes or until brown. Add more oil if necessary. Remove the steaks from the skillet onto a clean plate.
In the same skillet, add butter and allow it to melt at medium heat.
Add the garlic and saute until aromatic. Make sure to scrape the bottom of the skillet to get the brown bits.
Remove the skillet from the stove.
Put the steaks back into the skillet and toss until well combined with the garlic butter.
Serve and enjoy!
