This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was a little kid. I used to go to my grandma’s house on weekends. She would always serve delicious foods! One day, I was so hesitant to eat this Cabbage and Ham Salad because I was never a fan of vegetables. To my surprise, it wasn’t bad at all! I kind of like finished the entire bowl! Yes, that’s how delicious it was! It was my first time eating salad and I loved it so much that now that I am an adult, I still prepare and eat it! Oh, man, you have got to try this recipe. Ingredients:
8 ounces ham
4 small cucumbers
1 small head of cabbage (approximately 1 pound)
¾ c mayonnaise
1 can (14 ounces) sweet corn (liquid discarded)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
⅓ c chopped scallion
¼ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon salt
Directions:
Chop the cabbage into thin strips. (Coleslaw slice)
Slice the ham and cucumbers into small pieces.
In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients. Toss well until combined.
Serve and enjoy!
