Ingredients:
⅓ c brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
⅔ c white sugar
½ c butter softened
2 Eggs
1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ c all-purpose flour
1 ¾ tsp baking powder
½ c milk
1 apple, peeled and chopped
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray and sprinkle flour in a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, add cinnamon and brown sugar. Whisk until well mixed.
In another mixing bowl, add butter and white sugar. Beat until well mixed.
Add eggs gradually and beat every addition until well mixed.
Add the vanilla extract and stir until well blended.
In another mixing bowl, add baking powder and flour. Whisk until well mixed.
Transfer the flour mixture into the butter mixture, then beat until well blended.
Transfer ½ of the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Add ½ of the sugar mixture and apples. Gently pat the apples until coated.
Pour the rest of the batter on top of the apples and spread it evenly. Repeat the process until everything is arranged in layers.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
