Serve these Italian Butterball Cookies with your favourite cup of coffee, and you have yourself a snack to remember! Ingredients:
1 stick butter
¾ c confectioners’ sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract
1 ½ c all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 pinch salt
¼ c confectioners’ sugar
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray on a baking sheet.
Add ¾ cup of confectioners’ sugar and butter into a large mixing bowl. Beat until well blended.
Add vanilla, almond extract, and egg. Stir until well mixed.
In another mixing bowl, add baking powder, flour, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
Transfer the flour mixture into the butter, then stir until well mixed.
Form 1-inch balls out of the dough, then put them onto the baking sheet. Make sure to leave a space between each ball.
Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for about 10 minutes at room temperature.
Add ¼ cup of confectioners’ sugar onto a clean plate.
Place the balls on it and roll until well coated.
Serve and enjoy!
