Ingredients:
8 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 sprigs thyme
3 cloves garlic, mashed
3 ½ lbs. Yukon gold potatoes

Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Step 2: Place a pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 3: Add butter and allow it to melt.
Step 4: Add garlic and thyme. Stir until well blended. Remove from the heat.
Step 5: Brush with the mixture at the bottom of a 10-inch frying pan.
Step 6: Slice the potatoes into small pieces with a sharp knife.
Step 7: Place the potato slices onto a clean plate.
Step 8: Spread the potato slices into the prepared frying pan. Drizzle the rest of the butter on top, then season with salt.
Step 9: Place the potatoes inside the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour or until they turn golden brown.
Step 10: Remove from the oven and season them with salt.
Step 11: Serve warm and enjoy!
