Ingredients:
6 ounces shrimps, peeled and deveined
3 tbsp mayonnaise
3 tbsp butter, melted
1 ½ teaspoon grated garlic
1 ½ tbsp thinly sliced scallions (about 2 stalks of scallions)
black pepper
baguette or ciabatta (see notes)
basil, chiffonade
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Step 2: Finely chop the shrimps.
Step 3: Add them into a mixing bowl together with mayonnaise, grated garlic, scallions, black pepper, and melted butter. Stir until well mixed.
Step 4: Horizontally slice the baguette into two.
Step 5: Spread each bread with the shrimp mixture.
Step 6: Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for 18 minutes.
Step 7: Remove from the oven and generously sprinkle fresh basil on top.
Step 8: Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to use cheese instead of butter for this recipe.
