Ingredients:
2 lbs beef stew meat
⅓ c flour
1-2 tbsp oil
4 medium potatoes washed and cubed (I usually peel mine too but it isn’t necessary)
3 c carrots baby carrots or diced carrots, either way
1 c celery diced (optional)
2 tsp garlic minced
1 can diced tomatoes
3 c beef broth
2 tbsp ranch seasoning
Directions:
Step 1: In a ziplock bag, add the flour and meat. Shake the bag until the meat is well coated with the flour.
Step 2: Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Step 3: Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 4: Add the floured meat together with the garlic. Cook until the meat turns brown on both sides and the garlic is aromatic.
Step 5: Add the chopped vegetables to a slow cooker.
Step 6: In the skillet with the meat, add 1 cup of broth and the rest of the flour. Stir and cook until the texture of the sauce becomes thick.
Step 7: Remove from the heat and transfer the meat mixture into the slow cooker with the chopped veggies.
Step 8: Add the rest of the ingredients and stir until well combined.
Step 9: Cover the slow cooker and cook for 6 hours on low heat or until the meat is fork-tender.
Step 10: Serve hot and enjoy!
