Ingredients:
2-pound hot breakfast sausage
1 (30-32ounces) bag frozen tater tots
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder
1-½ c shredded cheddar cheese
½ c mozzarella cheese
8 Eggs
2 c milk
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch.
Step 3: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 4: Add the sausage and cook until brown. Discard any excess grease.
Step 5: Add the cooked sausage, cheeses, and tater tots into a large mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
Step 6: Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Step 7: In a mixing bowl, add the eggs, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 8: Spread the mixture over the tater tot mixture in the pan.
Step 9: Place the pan inside the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour or until done.
Step 10: Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.
Step 11: Serve and enjoy!
Note:
Feel free to make this casserole the night before. Just place it inside the fridge until ready to bake.
