Ingredients:
½-lb fresh shrimp
2 filets fresh salmon
2 large lemons
¼ c heavy whipping cream
8 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
½ c grated parmesan
1 teaspoon minced garlic
½ teaspoon salt
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Place a frying pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 3: Add 4 tablespoons of butter and allow it to melt.
Step 4: Add the minced garlic and salt. Sauté for about a minute or until aromatic.
Step 5: Add the salmon fillets and spoon the melted butter and garlic over.
Step 6: Top the salmon with lemon slices.
Step 7: Remove the pan from the heat and transfer it inside the preheated oven. Allow the salmon to cook for 15 minutes or until done. Make sure to spoon the sauce on top from time to time.
Step 8: Place another pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 9: Add 4 tablespoons of butter and allow it to melt.
Step 10: Add the shrimp and cook for a few minutes until both sides turn pink.
Step 11: Add the Parmesan cheese, heavy whipping cream, and parsley. Stir until well mixed, then allow the shrimp to simmer.
Step 12: When the sauce becomes thick, remove the pan from the oven.
Step 13: Remove the cooked salmon from the oven and let it sit at room temperature to cool for at least 3 minutes.
Step 14: Transfer the salmon to a clean serving plate, then put the shrimp mixture on top.
Step 15: Serve and enjoy!
