This chilli is just pure love! This has always been my comfort food! Give it a try and taste it yourself. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1-lb ground beef
2 cloves of garlic, minced (or ½ tsp garlic powder)
1 large bell pepper (your favourite colour)
about 1 cup onion, diced (use more if you like a sauteed onion)
2 teaspoons chilli powder
1 teaspoon cumin
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt (You could cheat and just use 2 tablespoons of a chilli spice mix in place of the 4 spices above.)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
½ teaspoon celery salt
4 ounces can dice green chiles
1 c of tomato sauce
1 c beef broth
1 tablespoon tomato paste
Directions:
Step 1: Place a large frying pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 2: Add the ground beef and cook until brown.
Step 3: Add the garlic, onions, and bell peppers. Sauté for a few minutes until translucent and aromatic.
Step 4: Add the Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, tomato paste, sliced green chilis, and broth. Stir until well mixed.
Step 5: Simmer the mixture to about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Step 6: Add chilli powder, cumin, and cayenne for more spice.
Step 7: Remove from the heat.
Step 8: Ladle the chilli into serving bowls.
Step 9: Serve and enjoy!
