Yesterday, my friend visited me. She brought a lot of haddock and shrimp. So, I went online to find a recipe that has these two delicious ingredients in it. I have stumbled upon this Simple Seafood Casserole. Oh, man, I am so glad that I gave it a try because it is so good! The freshness of the seafood was superb! Feel free to add more ingredients if you feel like it. I hope you all love and appreciate this simple recipe today. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1-lb haddock cleaned and skinned
1-lb large shrimp cleaned and deveined
3- 4 garlic cloves minced
¼ cup butter, cut into pieces
½ – ¾ cup heavy cream
½ cup shredded Swiss cheese
Paprika
Sea salt and pepper
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a glass-ceramic 7×11-inch dish.
Step 3: Slice into 1 ½ chunks the haddock.
Step 4: Arrange the sliced haddocks onto the prepared pan.
Step 5: Add in the shrimp and season it with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6: Add in minced garlic.
Step 7: Add in heavy cream and Swiss cheese on top of the fish and shrimp.
Step 8: Scatter the butter over the top.
Step 9: Sprinkle paprika on top.
Step 10: Place the casserole inside the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until done. Make sure not to overcook the shrimp. (You don’t want that rubbery texture.)
Step 11: Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature for at least 10 minutes.
Step 12: Serve over rice. Enjoy!
Note:
Feel free to add more ingredients. The more the merrier, right?
