Ingredients:
1 ½ c granulated sugar
⅔ c (5 fluid oz) Carnation Evaporated Milk
2 tbsp butter or margarine
¼ tsp salt
2 c miniature marshmallows
1 ½ c (9 oz) semisweet chocolate morsels (chips)
½ c pecans or walnuts, chopped (optional)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Directions:
Step 1: Line with waxed paper or aluminium foil an 8-inch square baking dish.
Step 2: Place a large saucepan on the stove and add the evaporated milk, sugar, butter, evaporated milk, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
Step 3: Turn the heat to medium and allow the mixture to boil. Make sure to stir from time to time for about 5 minutes.
Step 4: Remove the pan from the heat and add in the chocolate morsels, vanilla extract, nuts, and marshmallows. Stir for about 1 minute or until well combined and marshmallows are melted.
Step 5: Transfer the fudge into the lined baking pan.
Step 6: Place the fudge inside the fridge to chill and harden for about 2 hours.
Step 7: Remove the foil and cut the fudge into small squares with a sharp knife.
Step 8: Serve and enjoy!
