¼ tsp ground cumin
1 c cheddar cheese shredded
1 c cooked chicken breast shredded
½ c salsa whichever brand you like
3 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped (optional)
½ green bell pepper seeded and diced
½ red bell pepper seeded and diced
3 10-inch flour tortillas
Directions:
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, add the garlic powder, cream cheese, cumin, and oregano. Stir until well mixed.
Step 2: Add in the chicken, salsa, and cheese. Stir until well mixed.
Step 3: Add in the bell peppers and cilantro. Stir until well combined.
Step 4: Place a tortilla on a cutting board and place ⅓ of the filling in the middle. Spread the filling evenly with a spoon.
Step 5: Roll the tortilla up and form a log shape out of it.
Step 6: Repeat the process to the rest of the tortillas and filling.
Step 7: Cut the ends of the tortillas with a sharp knife, then cut the tortillas into half inches to make 8 pinwheels for each tortilla.
Step 8: Place them on a large serving plate.
Step 9: Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes:
Cover the pinwheels with plastic wrap when serving for later. Place them in the fridge to chill.
The volume of the pinwheels depends on the size of the tortillas.
