Do you want beef that melts in your mouth? Well, this is your lucky day! This recipe is not only very yummy but it is also very easy to make! All you need to do is to toss everything into the slow cooker and wait for about 4 hours. That’s it! Feel free to add more ingredients if you want. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 ½ lbs Flank Steak
¼ c cornstarch
2 Tbsp olive oil
½ tsp Garlic minced, Cloves
¾ c Soy Sauce
¾ c Water
¾ c Brown Sugar
1 c Carrots grated
Green onions for garnish
Directions:
Step 1: Slice the flank steak into thin cuts.
Step 2: Place the thin slices of steak and cornstarch in a Ziplock bag. Shake the bag until everything is well coated with the cornstarch.
Step 3: In a slow cooker, add soy sauce, olive oil, water, carrots, minced garlic, and brown sugar. Stir until well combined.
Step 4: Add in the flank steak slices and stir until well mixed with the sauce.
Step 5: Turn the slow cooker to a high setting and cook for about 2 to 3 hours or 4 to 5 hours on a low setting. When the steak slices are fork-tender, you are ready to serve.
Step 6: Serve the Mongolian Beef over rice and top it with the sauce and green onions. Enjoy!
