Last week, I bought a new Air Fryer and I’ve been looking for recipes to try. I went on the internet to look for easy and delicious recipes. I am so glad that I have stumbled upon this French Fries recipe. Oh, man, I love it so much! I don’t know if it’s just me but I think fries tasted better when cooked in an Air Fryer! Well, anyway, feel free to add more ingredients to this very simple recipe if you wish. Have a blessed day, friends!
Ingredients:
2 large russet potatoes washed
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Step 1: Slice the potatoes with a mandolin. You can slice the potatoes into fries with a knife if you do not have a mandolin.
Step 2: Put the fries in a large mixing bowl. Add enough water to submerge the fries.
Step 3: Allow the potatoes to rest in the water for about 30 minutes.
Step 4: Drain the water and submerge the fries again with water for 30 minutes more.
Step 5: Drain the water and use paper towels to pat dry the fries.
Step 6: Drizzle the fries with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 7: Prepare the Air Fryer and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Step 8: Put the fries on the bottom of the fryer and leave a space between each fry.
Step 9: Cook the fries for about 7 minutes, flip and cook the other sides for 5 more minutes or until done.
Step 10: Place the fries on a clean plate lined paper towels to drain any excess oil.
Step 11: Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes:
Make sure to cook the fries in batches if you will serve more than the yield for this recipe.
