These delicious treats are so good! Serve them with your favourite cup of coffee and you have yourself a breakfast or snack to remember. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 c all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
1 ½ tsp dry active yeast
½ tbsp sugar
1 ½ tbsp olive oil
½ c warm water you may need less
Toppings:
Flake sea salt
1 tbsp rosemary fresh or dry
1 ½ tbsp olive oil
Directions:
Step 1: In a small mixing bowl, add the yeast, water, and sugar. Whisk until well combined, and then allow the yeast to rise for about 10 minutes.
Step 2: In another mixing bowl, add the flour and salt. Stir until well mixed.
Step 3: Add in the yeast and knead for 5 minutes or until the dough is smooth.
Step 4: Add in olive oil and knead for another 3 minutes.
Step 5: Cover the bowl with a towel and let it sit in a warm area to rise for about 1 ½ hours.
Step 6: Place the dough on a floured flat surface and knead for about a minute.
Step 7: Roll the dough to any shape you want.
Step 8: Apply baking spray on a baking sheet.
Step 9: Arrange the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
Step 10: Cover the baking sheet and allow the dough to rise for another 30 minutes.
Step 11: Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Step 12: Poke the surface of the dough with your fingers.
Step 13: Brush olive oil on top of each dough and sprinkle sea salt and rosemary on top.
Step 14: Place the bread inside the preheated oven and bake for about 12 minutes or until the colour turns golden brown and crispy.
Step 15: Remove from the oven and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to use garlic olive oil for more flavour.
You can also sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. I highly recommend it!
