Ingredients:
24-36 shrimp tails and shells removed
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning blend homemade or store-bought (recipe link in instructions)
1-2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Step 1: Clean the shrimp and discard tails and shells. Make sure to thaw frozen shrimp first.
Step 2: Place a large cast-iron or non-stick skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 3: Add in oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 4: Pat dry the shrimp and put them in a bowl.
Step 5: In the same bowl with the shrimp, add in the Cajun seasoning and toss until everything is well coated.
Step 6: Place the shrimp into the hot skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until done.
Step 7: Remove the shrimp from the skillet and put them on a clean serving plate.
Step 8: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
Step 9: Serve over salad, potatoes, or rice. Enjoy!
Notes:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container and put it inside the fridge. They can last up to 3 days.
