This is better than junk food I’m telling you! I always enjoy eating this on movie nights. This is perfect finger food when you are drinking wine. Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. Ingredients:
12 ounces dry bread cubes
2 c diced celery
2 c chopped onions
2 tbsp chopped Italian parsley
1 tbsp chopped fresh sage
1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
8 tbsp butter
2 ½ c turkey broth or 2 ½ cups chicken broth
Directions:
Step 1: Place a pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 2: Add in the butter and allow it to melt.
Step 3: Add in the onions, celery, herbs, salt, and pepper, then sauté for 1 minute or until translucent.
Step 4: Add in the bread cubes and toss until well combined.
Step 5: Add in just enough broth to make the texture wet.
Step 6: Transfer the mixture into an oblong baking pan.
Step 7: Cover the pan with aluminium foil.
Step 8: Place it inside the oven and bake at 325 degrees F for about 45 minutes.
Step 9: Remove the cover and bake for another 15 minutes or until done.
Step 10: Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.
Step 11: Serve and enjoy!
