Yesterday, I was browsing the internet for new and easy recipes that I can try at home. See, I am not a very skilled cook so now and then, I find recipes that I can pull off. I am so glad that I have stumbled upon this amazing recipe because it is so good! It is not every day that I get to cook delicious meals! I am so proud to share this with you because I know that you are going to love it! Add more ingredients to this if you want. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 cup Karo light corn syrup
1 cup of sugar
3 Eggs, well beaten
2 Tablespoon butter, melted
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 ½ cups pecan halves
1 9-inch, deep-dish frozen pie crust
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Place a cookie sheet inside the oven.
Step 3: In a medium mixing bowl, add the eggs, corn syrup, butter, vanilla, and sugar. Stir with a spoon until well mixed.
Step 4: Add in the pecans and stir until well combined.
Step 5: Transfer the mixture into the frozen pie crust and spread it evenly on top.
Step 6: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and place the pie in it.
Step 7: Put it back inside the preheated oven and bake for 60 to 70 minutes in the middle rack. Gently tap the middle of the pie to check the doneness. If it springs back and the colour of the crust turns brown, your pie is done.
Step 8: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool for 2 hours at room temperature.
Step 9: Serve and enjoy!
