Ingredients
CRUST:
3 cups all-purpose flour
½ cup sugar
2 stick butter
½ tablespoon salt
PECAN PIE BAR FILLING:
4 large Eggs
1 ½ cups light corn syrup
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup brown sugar, firmly packed
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
2 ½ cups pecans, in pieces
How to make Pecan Pie Bars
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.
Step 2: Add the flour, half a cup of sugar, half tsp of salt, and 2 sticks of butter in a large bowl. Mix until dry and crumbly.
Step 3: Grease a 10 x 15-inch pan or a large pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
Step 4: Add and firmly press the crust mixture into the prepared pan.
Step 5: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes.
Step 6: Combine the eggs, corn syrup, sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and chopped pecans until well mixed. Set aside.
Step 7: Pour the filling mixture over the hot crust. Evenly distribute the filling using a spatula or spoon.
Step 8: Bake for another 35 minutes until done.
Step 9: Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.
