I love these fried pork chops so much! Thank you, Anna, for giving me this incredible recipe! You need to give this recipe a try. I am 100 per cent sure that you are going to love them! What I love the most about these bad boys is that they don’t need any sauce to taste delicious. They are perfect as is! Make sure to fry that small amount of fat to perfection. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 ½ to 2 pounds boneless pork chops, thin sliced
1 cup milk
1 large Egg
1 cup self-rising flour
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 ½ teaspoon chicken flavoured base
¾ teaspoon black pepper or to taste
oil for frying (I use canola)
Directions:
Step 1: Wash the pork chops and pat them dry.
Step 2: Place the, on a clean cutting board and pour both sides using a meat mallet.
Step 3: In a medium mixing bowl, add the milk and egg. Beat until well blended.
Step 4: In a separate mixing bowl, add the chicken flavoured base, flour, and seasonings. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 5: Coat the pork chops with the flour mixture, then dip them into the milk-egg mixture, and back to the flour mixture.
Step 6: Place a heavy skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 7: Add in oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 8: Add in 2 to 3 pork chops at a time and fry each side for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 9: Repeat this method to the rest of the pork chops.
Step 10: Place the fried pork chops on a serving plate.
Step 11: Serve and enjoy!
Note:
These pork chops are best-served over steamed rice or mashed potatoes.
