Every time I cook steak, it’s never complete without these delicious Roasted Garlic Mushrooms! Throw in nice tasting wine and you have yourself a dinner to remember! These heavenly treats also make the best appetizer! Whenever I have friends come over, I always make sure that I have these bad boys! They just could not get enough of these amazing mushrooms. I have listed all the directions and ingredients so all you need to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! For an extra twist, try adding cheese on top. Thank me later!
Ingredients:
16 even-sized open cap mushrooms stem cut level
3 tablespoons vegetable oil or corn oil
1 ½ stick unsalted butter, softened
3 clove garlic, chopped very fine
2 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice
salt and pepper, to taste
½ cup bread crumbs
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Step 2: Cut the stems of the mushrooms.
Step 3: Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 4: Add in oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 5: Add the mushrooms and fry for at least 20 seconds.
Step 6: Place the fried mushrooms in a shallow roasting pan and arrange them upside down.
Step 7: In a small mixing bowl, add the garlic, butter, lemon juice, seasoning, and thyme. Stir until well mixed.
Step 8: Top each mushroom with the garlic-butter mixture.
Step 9: Press the bread crumbs gently on top of each mushroom.
Step 10: Place the pan inside the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes or until done.
Step 11: Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.
Step 12: Serve and enjoy!
