What a dish! This will surely make your lunch or dinner extra special! This was what my Grandma used to cook for us. Luckily, she taught me the recipe so I get to share it with you today! Oh, man, you will crave for this all the time! This is best to eat on a rainy Sunday afternoon when everyone is around. Ingredients:
1 pound sausage
1(1 ½ ounce) package pork gravy mix
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
6 Eggs
½ cup milk
salt
black pepper
(1) 8 ounces can(s) biscuits ( 1 can Pillsbury Grands biscuits )
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Step 3: Slice the biscuits into 1-inch pieces.
Step 4: Arrange the sliced cookies on the bottom of the prepared pan.
Step 5: Spread the cooked sausage over the biscuits.
Step 6: Sprinkle a generous amount of Cheddar cheese on top.
Step 7: In a small mixing bowl, add the cracked eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then whisk until well mixed and creamy.
Step 8: Pour the egg mixture over the cheese.
Step 9: Follow the instructions provided on the package of the gravy mix. Pour it over the egg mixture.
Step 10: Place the pan inside the oven and bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until done.
Step 11: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool at room temperature.
Step 12: Serve and enjoy!
