Ingredients:
2 c shredded cheddar
½ c water
1 c shredded mozzarella
1 pound of ground beef
2 (10 ounces) cans of tomato soup
garlic, salt & pepper to taste
1 (1 pound) box of medium pasta shells
Directions:
Place a large pot with water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
Add the pasta and a bit of salt, then cook according to the package instructions until firm to bite. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray to a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add the ground beef into the hot skillet, then cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Add ½ cup of water, ½ of the cheese, tomato soup, and the cooked pasta. Toss everything until well combined. Heat for 3 more minutes.
Transfer the content of the skillet into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the top.
Cover the baking dish with aluminium foil, then put it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
Remove the foil, then bake for another 10 minutes.
Broil for 2 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.
Serve and enjoy!
Note:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them inside the fridge. They can last up to 3 days.
