I missed my childhood that’s why today, I made these Oreo Truffles. Oh, man, you are so in for a treat! My Grandma used to make these heavenly treats when I was a little kid. The best thing about this recipe is that you don’t need to bake it. All you need to do is to mould them and place them inside the fridge to chill. As easy as that! You will also be needing only three basic ingredients. Yes, you read it right! Give this recipe a try now and I promise you that it will not disappoint you. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 (16 oz) package OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, divided
1 (8 oz) package PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
2 (8 oz) packages BAKER’S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, melted
Directions:
Step 1: Place 9 cookies in a food processor, then pulse until they resemble fine crumbs. Set aside.
Step 2: Place the remaining 36 cookies in the food processor and pulse to fine crumbs as well, then place it in a large mixing bowl.
Step 3: Add the cream cheese and stir until well combined.
Step 4: Form 42 balls out of the mixture. Make sure that the diameter of each ball is 1-inch.
Step 5: Dip each ball into the chocolate.
Step 6: Arrange the chocolate-coated balls onto a baking sheet lined with wax paper.
Step 7: Sprinkle the reserved crumbs on top of the balls.
Step 8: Place the baking sheet inside the fridge to chill for about 1 hour.
Step 9: Remove from the fridge.
Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container and put it inside the fridge.
I use two forks to lift each ball from the chocolate dip.
