Ingredients:
5 lbs frozen chicken wings, thawed
10 fluid ounces barbeque sauce (such as Kraft® Original)
2 tbsp maple-flavoured syrup (such as Mrs Butterworth’s®)
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 220 degrees C or 425 degrees F.
Place the wings into a baking pan and arrange them. Make sure to leave a tiny space between each wing.
In a mixing bowl, add the syrup and barbecue sauce. Stir until well blended.
Spread the syrup mixture on top of the wings.
Place the baking pan inside the preheated oven and bake the wings for 20 minutes on each side. Make sure to flip them after 20 minutes.
Broil the chicken wings for about 5 minutes on each side or until they turn golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow the chicken wings to cool for at least 5 minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes:
These chicken wings are best served as is or with fries! Sometimes I eat them with fried rice. Yeah, they tasted perfect with fried rice!
