The balanced taste of the honey and barbeque sauce is perfect! Instead of the traditional grilled chicken, I love baked chicken the most. I don’t know, but for some reason, it tastes better than grilled. I usually serve these amazing wings over rice. Oh man, they go well with rice. I don’t usually need any dipping sauce for these wings but feel free to add it if you prefer. By the way, feel free to add more ingredients. For example, I have tried topping it with Cheddar cheese. It was awesome! Some of you might think it’s weird, but I am telling you that it’s legit! Anyway, I hope you all love this recipe. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
5 pounds frozen chicken wings, thawed
10-fluid ounces barbeque sauce (such as Kraft® Original)
2-tablespoons maple-flavoured syrup (such as Mrs Butterworth’s®)
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 220 degrees C or 425 degrees F.
Step 2: Place the chicken wings on the lightly greased baking pan.
Step 3: In a small mixing bowl, add syrup and barbeque sauce. Stir until well mixed. Spread the mixture over the chicken wings.
Step 4: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour. Flip the chicken wings every 15 minutes to cook both sides.
Step 5: Broil the chicken wings for another 5 minutes on both sides. Use an instant-read thermometer to check the doneness of the wings. It should read 74 degrees C or 165 degrees F.
Step 6: Remove from the oven and place the wings on a clean plate.
Step 7: Serve and enjoy!
