Fluffy inside and crispy, golden outside. These delicious Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes are one of my favorite potato recipes! Super easy and quick to make in your Air Fryer.
Air Fryers changed the way we cook. When I bought my first Air Fryer I was so impressed. I have been collecting Air Fryer recipes for months before my husband and I agreed to buy an Air Fryer. On top of that list is this Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes. I was nervous at first, but the potatoes turned out the way we expected and more! These potatoes are perfectly golden and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. One of the best, and most delicious potatoes I’ve made easily and quickly.
Ingredients
2 tbsp olive oil
1 and ½ lbs potatoes, cut into 1” pieces
¼ tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp smoked paprika
¾ tsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder or granules
How to make 20-Minute Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes
Step 1: Place the potatoes in a large bowl along with the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic granules, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the potatoes well.
Step 2: In an Air Fryer basket, place the potatoes and roast for 10 minutes at 380 degrees F or 195 degrees C. After 10 minutes, flip the potatoes and continue roasting for another 10 minutes.
Notes:
For crispier potatoes, I recommend preheating the Air Fryer for 5 minutes.
If you are planning to use starchy potatoes, soak them for 10 to 15 minutes in cold water before roasting. This will help get rid of the extra starch. Then, pat the potatoes dry.
I do not suggest shaking the Air Frye basket. Instead, use tongs to flip the potatoes.
These roasted potatoes are a great side or appetizer. If desired, garnish them with some fresh chopped parsley or cilantro. You can also serve them with your preferred dips like ranch dressing, Yum yum sauce, lime crema, or even guacamole.
