Quick and easy indeed! This 15-minute Chicken Pasta is the perfect dish to serve for tonight’s dinner! You will be amazed by how delicious this is! Chicken, pasta, cheese, marinara sauce, and a lot more made this an unforgettable dish. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
½ c mozzarella or Italian blend cheese
¼ c Parmesan cheese optional
3 c cooked pasta 1.5 c dry pasta
½ bell pepper, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 c marinara sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp EACH salt, pepper, & garlic powder
2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
½ medium yellow onion, chopped
Directions:
Place a saucepan with 2 cups of water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
Add 1 ½ cups of uncooked pasta and a bit of salt, then cook for about 10 minutes or until al dente.
Meanwhile, slice the chicken breasts, bell peppers, and onion.
Place a pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add 1 tbsp of olive oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the bell pepper and onion, then sauté for about 2 minutes or until soft.
Add garlic, then sauté for a minute or until aromatic.
Add chicken into the skillet, then cook for a few minutes or until brown. Season garlic powder, pepper, and salt to taste.
Add marinara sauce, then stir until well blended. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
Drain the pasta, then put it into the skillet and toss until well coated with the delicious sauce.
Remove the skillet from the heat, then sprinkle cheese on top.
Serve and enjoy!
Note:
You can broil the cheese for a few minutes until golden brown.
