Praline Crunch Snack Mix Recipe

Praline Crunch is addictive! It's sooooo good! Every bite is sweet and salty! Crispix cereal, pecans brown sugar, corn syrup and butter. Vanilla, baking soda. You can make it ahead and keep it in an airtight container.

Cook Time 1 hour
Servings: 13 cups

Ingredients
  

  • 8 cups Crispix cereal
  • 2 cups pecan halves I use salted
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup corn syrup
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp baking soda

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F
  2. Combine cereal and pecans into a large bowl.
  3. Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a large saucepan on medium heat. Bring to a boil and stir occasionally. Stir in vanilla and baking soda. Toss the cereal mixture with water and stir.
  4. Pour cereal mixture into a 9x13-inch pan. Bake for an hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
  5. Pour onto wax or parchment paper to cool. Break into pieces.

Notes

When making the brown sugar/corn syrup, use a large saucepan. When you add the baking soda, the mixture will bubble up.
