Method
- Place a pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
- Add olive oil and allow it to become hot.
- Add the sausage, then cook for about 5 minutes or until crumbly and brown.
- Add the onions, then saute for a few minutes until soft.
- Add garlic and the seasonings, then saute for another 2 minutes or until aromatic.
- Add pasta, chicken broth, milk, and tomatoes. Stir until just combined and allow the mixture to boil.
- Reduce the heat to low, then cover the pan with the lid and cook everything for about 15 minutes.
- Add cheese and stir until well blended. Let it melt completely.
- Sprinkle freshly chopped scallions on top to garnish.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them inside the fridge. They can last up to 4 to 5 days.
Reheat in the microwave. Stir every 30 seconds until heated through.
I do not recommend freezing this dish.
