Ingredients:
1 deep dish pie crust
2 large sweet potatoes (cooked)
¼ cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 Eggs
¼ teaspoon nutmeg or to taste
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 cup pet milk
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Add the sweet potatoes into a mixing bowl. mash the potatoes until the texture becomes smooth.
Add the sugar and butter, then beat until well mixed.
Add the eggs gradually and beat every addition until well mixed.
Add the milk, nutmeg, sour cream, and salt. Stir until well combined.
Add the flour and vanilla extract. Whisk until well blended.
Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and spread it evenly.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour and 5 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely at room temperature.
