Crockpot recipes are my favorite. They are very hassle-free! Like this Crockpot Brown Sugar Balsamic Glazed Pork Tenderloin! All you need to do is to put all the ingredients in the crockpot, and wait for a couple of hours! This recipe is perfect to try if you want a simple dinner with your loved ones. This very tender meat melts in your mouth! For extra flavors, you can brush it with glaze and broil it in the oven. I highly recommend you do so. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
½ c Brown sugar
1 tbsp Cornstarch
2 lbs. of Pork tenderloin
½ c Water
¼ c Balsamic Vinegar
2 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tsp Ground sage
½ c Water
1 clove Garlic; crushed
½ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Pepper
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, add all the seasonings and whisk until well incorporated.
Sprinkle the seasonings over the tenderloin, then rub it until well coated.
Add ½ cup of water into the slow cooker. Place the tenderloin in it. Feel free to add sauces or herbs if you wish.
Cover and seal the slow cooker, then cook for about 6 to 8 hours on a low setting.
Meanwhile, place a saucepan on the stove. Add soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, water, and cornstarch. Stir everything until well blended. Turn the heat to medium, then stir and cook the mixture for about 4 minutes.
One hour before the cooking of the tenderloin ends, brush it with the glaze.
Transfer the tenderloin onto a sheet pan. Place it inside the oven and broil for 2 minutes or until caramelized.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Make sure to glaze the tenderloin if you want to broil it. The glaze will give a nice color and texture to the tenderloin. I highly recommend it!
