Ingredients:
Ingredients for Asian noodles:
1 tbsp sesame seeds
2 c snow peas end trimmed (about 60 snow peas)
¼ c honey
2 tbsp sesame oil
¼ c chicken stock
½ pound pasta, preferably Fettuccine (half a pound)
1 tsp Sriracha sauce, substitute with any other hot sauce if you don’t have Sriracha
1 tbsp olive oil
5 green onions, chopped
10 button mushrooms, sliced, or 1 Portobello mushroom, sliced
¼ c soy sauce
Ingredients for Asian salmon:
1 tbsp honey
salt & pepper
1 lb. salmon
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
Directions:
Noodles:
Put a large frying pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add cooking oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the green onions and sesame seeds, then sauté for 2 to 3 minutes or until soft and aromatic.
Add the mushroom slices, then sauté for 2 more minutes or until soft.
Remove the pan from the stove, then add sesame oil, honey, chicken stock, sriracha, and soy sauce. Stir until well blended.
Place another pan with water on the stove and turn the heat to high.
Add the snow peas, then steam for about 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Place another pan with water on the stove and turn the heat to high as well. Allow the water to boil.
Add the pasta and cook according to the instructions provided on the package or until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.
Add the cooked pasta and snow peas into the pan with the sauteed veggies, then toss until well combined.
Place the pan on the stove and turn the heat to low.
Salmon:
Sprinkle salt and pepper over the salmon to season.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to high.
Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the salmon into the hot skillet, then sear each side for about 4 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, add soy sauce and honey. Stir until well blended.
Brush the honey mixture over the salmon.
Broil the salmon for about 3 minutes or until the top turns brown.
Serve the baked salmon with the noodles. Enjoy!
