This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was a little kid. I remember my grandma used to make these heavenly treats all the time. See, my grandma was a very skilled pastry chef. She had a lot of recipes like this. I am so grateful to her for sharing with me this recipe because now, I get to share it with you as well. How awesome is that? Anyway, I have listed all the things you will be needing so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! You are more than welcome to add more ingredients if you wish. Ingredients:
8 oz. ham steak cubed
½ c milk (I used skim)
12 large Eggs
2 green onions sliced thin
¼ tsp garlic powder
¾ c shredded cheddar cheese divided
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a muffin tin.
Add milk, spices, and eggs into a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined.
Add the ham, green onions, and ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until well blended.
Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tins and make sure to fill.
Top each tin with the rest of the cheese.
Place then muffin tins inside the preheated oven and bake the batter for about 30 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and let the muffins rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
